Tim’s Inc. Auctions is celebrating 45 years of auction excellence in Connecticut. Tim started his business in 1979 and is still going strong today! Each year kicks off with the Annual Cabin Fever Auction. This year is the 32th Annual Cabin Fever Auction, and is sure to prove as exciting as the previous year’s. Tim is also the “go to” guy when it comes to providing the best auction experience for buyers and sellers.

Tim knows how to show your items and bring in the right buyers for you if you are looking to liquidate an estate, or simply downsizing. Tim will help you through from beginning to end of the auction process, and take out the worry of cleaning out a home or storage unit. Tim’s Auctions has been featured many times in area news, and is frequently covered by Antiques and Arts Weekly. He has handled countless large estate auctions and has auctioned just about everything from coins and jewelry to automobiles. Being knowledgable about what items you are selling and bringing that knowledge to buyers provides a win/win atmosphere for both. Being able to identify rare collectible items and it’s value in the marketplace, then connecting with buyers and collectors has resulted in some spectacular outcomes. A 17 Lot collection of David Webb jewelry realized $167,440 at one of the Cabin Fever Auctions. Other Cabin Fever Auction treasures saw dueling pistols that tied with the Hiram Welton clock as top lot, selling for $7,670. A large selection of gold coins brought more than $28,750. 1954 Mercedes 300 “Little B” Adenauer, the most expensive vehicle on the market during its day; it sold at $25,875 at Cabin Fever Auction. Be sure to check the website often so you will be sure not to miss some of Tim’s showcase estate auctions. Recently auctioned were the contents of the home of the late James B. Irwin of Litchfield CT, at Thunder Ridge Riding Stable; and the weekend home of 22 years belonging to Anthony Morse, famed conductor, also in Litchfield. We are always signing on new auctions, and you never know what treasures are waiting right around the corner!

Charity is also a big part of Tim’s Auction Team. Tim and his late mother, Helen, have been raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor and memory of Peter W. Chapulis, Tim’s father and mother who had been an ardent supporters of the hospital. Please consider donating $10 or what you can afford, buyers may be thrilled to find many signed Rock ‘N Roll items up for bid at Cabin Fever and charity auctions held throughout the year. Les Paul signature guitars and many other featured artist’s signed memorabilia have been donated to a variety of charitable events, including the annual Litchfield Possum Queen Contest.
